Scottie Pippen and Isotonix®: A Winning Combination

When Scottie Pippen was a freshman at the University of Central Arkansas, he earned a spot on the roster as a walk-on. But without the luxury of scholarship, Scottie had to work to help pay for his education. To earn money, Scottie served as the team manager, and during the summer he worked as a welder – not the easiest of professions by any means. Welding during an unrelenting Arkansas summer to help subsidize his education just goes to show what type of work ethic this Hall of Famer had even at a young age.
As he grew over the next few years, Scottie’s game flourished, and the team manager transformed into a superstar. The shooting guard scored nearly 24 points a game as a senior, and was drafted with the 5th pick of the 1987 NBA Draft by the Seattle SuperSonics – not too bad for a former walk-on. Clearly, it took a tremendous amount of talent and skill to accomplish this incredible feat, but it also took hard work.
His strong work ethic translated directly onto the court, and as a result Scottie’s grittiness and toughness have gone down in history. With 18,940 points, 6,135 assists, and 2,307 steals, Scottie amassed some amazing statics over the course of his Hall of Fame career. Statistics that show just what can be accomplished if you work hard, but Scottie had something else to show for it as well – joint problems.
Scottie endured 17 years of wear and tear in the NB A, and he needed something that would promote optimal joint health. When Scottie discovered Prime™ Joint Support Formula by Isotonix, he knew his search was over.
